What a football match over at the Emirates Stadium after the Stamford Bridge side heads back home with a point. The scoreline ends 2-2 after the final whistle was blown between, Arsenal and Chelsea, with the result fair in many ways.

Thrilling, nonstop action, in the Emirates during the London Derby. It was a match between the two goalkeepers on the night – with both of them making outstanding saves, shot after shot. The right result at the end of the 90 minutes for both, Arsenal and Chelsea.

However, both managers will agree – each side had the chance to take the game away from one another. They really do have their keepers to thank for being the last line of defence. On the other end of the two sides in attack – Conte has Morata to beat with a compass after the game and Wenger has some talking to do to his front three, cause both his team’s goals came from a midfielder and wing-back.

A star for Wenger having a great run of games is midfielder, Jack Wilshere. Before the season started the player was found in the reserves – give the man a couple of a games ahead of an important World Cup, his playing at the peak of his powers. The English midfielder has been involved in two goals in the last three outings, with a goal and an assist to his name.

He’s been a breath of fresh air in the Arsenal camp, while their signing of last summer continues to struggle to find a goal, along with the rest of the Gunners forward men. Lacazette has not scored a goal that has contributed to a point, since September last year.

Marcos Alonso, another player showing world-class, goal-scoring abilities for Antonio Conte. Made a tireless run from the left side of the pitch all the way into the box and completed off a typical striker’s goal. A good reward for a player who worked hard for it.

The answer back by the Gunners was an even better placed effort by Arsenal’s right-wing back, Hector Bellerin. A point-saving volley to deny Conte and his men all three points in the dying embers of the game. It was way too much for any 90-year-old man to handle.

Questions to be asked by both London club managers:

For Mr Wenger; Why was it so easy to break their defensive line, after Morata got in behind them on several occasions? Give those opportunities to any striker oozing confidence – the ball would be buried in the back of the net, and the scorecard would read differently.

For Mr Conte; What does he do with Morata? Surely that’s been too many misses in a high-profile match. With his talent, he should be taking the match ball home after the derby. It was really the fault of the Spain striker to not put the game to bed.

Should both managers be dipping into the market for what’s needed? A striker for competition at Stamford Bridge and a defender/s for the Gunners after showing no pace.

Wenger also needs to be asking questions of his leading men missing for most of the clash. Sanchez and Ozil, were nowhere to be found for most part of the match. Whereas Hazard, was ever-present on the pitch.

How do the managers feel, after they were both lucky to have 11 men on the field after 90 minutes? The ref missed a couple and we could have probably seen the goal-scorer, Jack Wilshere, march off the pitch for two mistimed challenges.
