The two most recently hired PL Managers, in November and last week respectively, have had little effect, with both teams are still mired in the relegation places.

While still too early to call, Pardew has seemed an ineffective boss, with West Brom dropping to 20th in the table and showing no signs of leaving it.

Swansea however, have begun better under Carvalhal, with a shock win at Watford in the new manager’s first game.

Both teams are still  favourites to go down however, and the respective boards might be left rueing the timing of their appointments come May.
