Renato Sanchez makes Swansea loan switch – Good move for the Swans
Fallen out of favour at Munich since his Euro 2016 heroics. Renato Sanchez heads over to Swansea to seek game time in a loan move.
What a signing for a team in need of a major moral boost! At 20 years of age, Renato is just the player Swansea needs and in return, the player was smart to make the move.
Before the loan switch was made, he was heavily linked with a possible move to Liverpool but, nothing materialised from the consistent rumours.
it was sad to hear such a promising player not make it at a big club like Munich as he struggled to impress Ancelotti. During the preseason Ancelotti made it known how Sanchez and other players are welcomed to leave the club and have no future.
After watching him perform against Liverpool in their Audi Cup, it was safe to say, the manager wasn’t far off from his decision. Going up against an experienced player such as Arturo Vidal for a place in the team is a difficult ask for any youngster.
The only thing the manager needs to think about now is Vidal’s age and how long he would be able to operate that midfield at such an intense pace.
Maybe with regular game time he will change the bosses mind and be back to his best after the season concludes.
How this works in Swansea’s favour:
About two weeks ago Swansea lost their king of the sea, Gylfi Sigurðsson to Everton. Since losing him Swansea has struggled to bring in good results.
A bit of mix results for the Swans; a win, a draw; and a loss. Doesn’t seem to bad considering other teams start such as the Gunners.
But the fact they have only managed to score two goals in three games, shows the impact of losing a player such as Gylfi has had on them.
A few weeks on and Swansea pull off one the deals of this window.
One can only imagine the moral of the club has lifted and can come back from international break, happy for days.
Next: Liverpool and Arsenal reach an agreement
Bringing in the Euro winner, will only benefit the club and bring control and structure to the middle where Swansea have been struggling.

With this being said, the loan makes all the sense in the world for all the parties involved. Good luck and welcome to another new player to English Premier League.
