Crystal Palace will make Mamadou Sakho their priority signing this week coming after three loses from their three opening games.

Sakho has not featured for Liverpool once this season and is at the door waiting for anybody, or any team to come and pick him up. Pick me; pick me…said the French defender!

While Liverpool expelled Sakho from the team/club, they were not ready to listen to any offers for the centerback if it was below the valuation of him.

Liverpool is not oblivious to how talented Sakho is and that he is of first choice quality. It would be sinful for the Red’s to lose a player who has lost his place, due only to having a bad attitude and not a lack of being able to fit Klopp’s system.

More from The Top Flight

The club is right to value the Frenchman at £30 million in this market. The transfer window has seen some silly amounts of money spent, and makes £30 million seem like chump change!

Palace should have coughed it up a long time ago and let the team, the player, and the supporters, enjoy a preseason together. Maybe there could have been a better start to the campaign.

Palace are said to be making all the funds available for the transfer to happen as soon as possible. Now being the perfect timing with international break over the bridge.

What will the Frenchmen do?

Firstly, walk straight into the starting eleven! Help a team struggling on both ends of the pitch.

No goals added on the one side and six put past their defence on the other. Palace is in a major mess, losing to other struggling sides is far from displeasing.

De Boer voting to go with three centre backs cries for Sakho’s return. Sakho’s loan spell proved he is a valuable asset to them and hearing he will be made a significant signing for the club, I’m sure will bring joy to all parties involved.

The Dutch manager has to change things up after conceding six goals in three matches already and Sakho is just the answer for a leaking, Crystal Palace. A new formation in a league as intense as the Premier League is one of the most dangerous stunts to pull.

Sakho is a transfer target who has been saying come and get me for so long, so much so, Liverpool have even made it clear for clubs to come and take him off their hands, PLEASE!

Other than Crystal Palace, West Brom is the next team said to share a common interest in the French International. Hopefully any of one these clubs can come and get the player out of the hole he’s been rotting in.

You know the saying, “Even if Liverpool concede three goals a game, they still wont use Sakho!”
