The Champs got back on track and managed a result without striker, Diego Costa. In the other match, Wagner’s men showed the other two promoted sides how it’s done.

Sunday saw surprise package, Huddersfield Town slip a 1-0 victory over re-entries, New Castle. Wagner and his men have issued themselves a fantastic start to life in the Premier League.

Rafa and his Men are performing far worse than expected. They’ve been struggling to find the form which helped them get to the top flight.

What came as no surprise, was Chelsea returning to winning ways. The surprise was the win came at the defeat of Spurs, at their new home stadium. Pochettino’s men were finished off by a thumping Alonso free-kick.

Pep and his men failed to take all three points when they welcomed Everton in a 1-1 draw. The match Referee, Bobby Madley, was two red cards happy and appeared to get both sending offs horribly wrong.

All is not lost and and plenty of time left. Only difference, cup games are upon us and that means, midweek games for all the teams. It will be tough for the smaller clubs to work with the demand of depth.
