Chelsea travel to play Leicester City at the King Power Stadium this weekend. Here is how you can watch the game.

This weekend sees the current title favorites, Chelsea, play the current defending champions Leicester City in the Premier League. Their season’s so far couldn’t be much more different than they are already. But in a one-off game, you just don’t know what might happen in this one.

Chelsea had a rough start to the campaign but rallied thanks to the tactical changes of manager Antonio Conte. The Italian wrestled with his lineup and tactics in the early goings of the season, but soon adjusted to get the best out of his players.

The 3-4-3 formation has been a huge success and saw the Blues go on a run of 13 successive victories. Tottenham Hotspur ended that run last time out as Chelsea looked to make history with a 14th win in a row.

Now the question is how will Chelsea bounce back from that defeat? How will they handle adversity? The game against Leicester this weekend will, in part, answer that. Additionally, Conte also now has to deal with the drama surrounding Diego Costa.

More from The Top Flight

The Brazilian will miss the game against Leicester after being dropped amid rumors of a transfer bid arriving from a Chinese Super League club. Conte may now be forced to field an attacking midfielder like Eden Hazard as a false 9 upfront.

Claudio Ranieri will be hoping his team can take advantage of the drama in the opposition camp. The Foxes have won just one of their last five games and just two of their last ten. Ranieri will be without Riyad Mahrez, Islam Slimani and Daniel Amartey for the game who are all away at the African Cup of Nations.

With the champions struggling as they are, it is bad timing for Ranieri to be losing players mid-season. After amazingly being crowned as Premier League champions last season, there is suddenly a chance that Leicester could actually be relegated from England’s top flight this year.

The Foxes are just six points above the drop zone and are in no kind of form to offer comfort that the unthinkable will not happen. After making history last season for all the right reasons, the club could make history once again but for all the wrong reasons this time.
