Manchester United and Swansea City both desperately need a win when the pair square off at the Liberty Stadium. Here is how you can tune in to the Premier League clash.

Manchester United next travel to face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League. Both teams are in desperate need of a win, with United in particular becoming a more pressurized situation by the game.

Jose Mourinho was drafted in to Old Trafford to bring the glory days back to Manchester United. Or at least bring the Red Devils back to a level where they are genuine title challengers. But with ten games of the season gone, it’s difficult to tell whether United are better or worse than last year.

Louis van Gaal may have made United one of the most boring teams in the Premier League last season, but at least he got some half decent results to go along with it. United tied Manchester City for fourth place in the end.

This season, if it carries on the way it is, United will be lucky to finish top six. The signings of Zlatan Ibrahimovich and Paul Pogba have not worked out. Ibrahimovich started the season well, but has since faded.

Whilst Pogba hasn’t found any form as yet. Failing to win against Swansea would mean Mourinho’s team have not won in five Premier League games. Mourinho’s position will come under increasing pressure the longer the winless streak goes on.

More from The Top Flight

Mourinho doesn’t have the aura that he had a few years back, when everybody would believe it was just a matter of time before he turned this situation around. Now, nobody really knows whether the Portuguese has got it in him anymore to turn it around.

Bob Bradley also has a situation to turn around at Swansea. Bradley has been in charge at the Liberty Stadium for three games now. So far losing two games and drawing one. The Swans are in the relegation zone and five points from safety.

Swansea have only won one game all season and Bradley admitted recently that confidence is an issue right now. Fortunately, United aren’t exactly strutting into town full of belief themselves. So Bradley’s team might just be able to get that confidence-boosting win that they need.

However, to do so, the home team will have to score some goals. Nine goals scored in 10 games is the second lowest in the division. That has to improve, but it’s difficult to see where the goals will come from.

Fernando Llorente and Borja Baston both arrived in the summer, but the pair only have a goal apiece so far this season. At least one of them needs to start firing in some goals or else Bob Bradley might just find he has mission impossible on his hands.

With the pressure on Manchester United, though, and Swansea still acclimatizing to a new manager, the game is hard to predict. It’s one of those games that could end up being a complete train wreck for one team, or perhaps even both. Desperate teams do desperate things.
