"“I am really enjoying the experience. I have a very good relationship with the club and I am very happy. My first experience of La Liga has been positive – the first six or seven months; my wish was to be able to complete a full season, from start to finish, like this one.”"

The Scottsman also revealed in his interview that his desire to manage a full season with Real Sociedad trumped the interest in him from interested Premier League sides.

"“This summer I received a lot of offers to return to the Premier League but I have decided to stay here because I believe in this project and I believe in the players we have – players who I know much better now.”"

Taking over with the Spanish club in relegation danger, David Moyes guided The Royals to a twelfth place finish in La Liga last season. Now — hopefully — having a full season in charge of the club can allow David Moyes the chance to lead Real Sociedad to bigger and better things.

"“The pre-season helped me, not just to get to know what the players are about, but also to understand them on a personal level.”"

Named as the successor at Manchester United for the great Sir Alex Ferguson, many initially believed that David Moyes would allow the club to continue in their past successes. The end result was not even close to what many had expected.

Manchester United would finish seventh in the table, missing out on both the Champions League and Europa League. In fact, the side was so bad at times throughout the campaign that calls for Moyes head had begun before the halfway point of the season.

In the end, the Manchester United board finally washed their hand of David Moyes with three matches left in the Premier League season. Having built his name up as manager at Everton, David Moyes chances of managing in the Premier League again were seen as very slim at that time.

However, with this revelation that interest from within the Premier League was somewhat high last summer for David Moyes, it will only be a matter of time before the Scotsman is back managing in the English Premier League.
