8. Sergio Aguero
The leading scorer of the Premier league and the likely winner of of the Golden boot is another sure shot inclusion in the nominees list although it was quite surprising how he didn’t find himself in the Premier league team of the Season.
Aguero has been the go to man for the Citizens, as most of the attacks go through him. Without him the whole team crumbles as we have seen on many occasions when he was out due to injury. He has a tremendous talent to control the ball in small spaces and take shot from the most impossible of angles and spaces. His change of pace over a short distance is also good although he comes being Hazard in that aspect.

He single-handedly carries City and the whole team basically revolves around him. Manuel Pellegrini’s tactics sometimes I feel is only to get the ball to Aguero and then let him do whatever he can which goes to show how important he has been for City in recent times. He can head the ball and words can’t describe his shooting abilities, one only has to watch in awe. Deserving nominee and and even more deserving winner if chosen for the award.
