Arsenal vs Chelsea FC: 5 talking points from the match at Emirates
4. Oscar impressed in the false 9 position
Oscar is rumored to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge, but his performance against Manchester United and today against Arsenal can bring about a change in perspective. With Costa and Remy both injured and Drogba not totally match fit, Jose went with Oscar in a false 9 position where he will play off Hazard and the other attacking midfielders behind him.

Oscar played a complete game. From picking up the ball in good positions, his accurate forward passes and the timing of his runs, all were made to perfection.
This was evident when he got an overhead pass and lifted the ball over Ospina only get clattered by the Arsenal goalkeeper, and unfortunately seeing Bellarin clear the ball off the line. To top it all off, he did not get a clear cut penalty and went off in the second half with a concussion.
A sad end to his game, but he has been turning some heads with his performances in recent times. If he keeps on functioning in the same manner, then maybe Jose will stick to his words and keep the number 10 at Stamford Bridge.
