Chelsea FC: Mourinho Claims To Be Best Manager In Premier League… And He’s Right
By Lou Flavius
Despite being knocked out of the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, Chelsea FC Manager Jose Mourinho says that he is head and shoulders above other Premier League coaches.
All you have to do is look to his record to see that he’s right, The Portuguese tactician has won league titles in every country he worked (as a manager that is).

Now that Sir. Alex Ferguson has moved on from coaching, there is no one who can boast as outstanding a CV as Jose Mourinho. He did not win any silverware last season or the season before that, but moved quickly to rectify that during this campaign.
He already nicked the first trophy up for grabs, and he’s on course to win his third Premier League title with the Blues.
Mourinho won the Champions League twice, guiding Porto and Inter Milan to victory, but so far, he has failed to win the competition with the Blues. However, he dismissed the idea of him being unfulfilled unless he conquers Europe in blue.
"“It is wrong to assume that. People are too much worried about me than they should. They don’t know what my happiness is. My happiness, first of all, is when I compare myself with the others, I see just a few that are with me in terms of success.”"
"“And the others I see a huge difference, a huge distance, with all the respect that they deserve and this is not a fight with them and I have lots of respect for all of them.”-Jose MourinhoSource: Telegraph"
Mourinho also named Louis van Gaal and Arsene Wenger as the only Premier League managers who come close to him in terms of success.
"“But in the Premier League, who is European champion? Me and Van Gaal. Right? In the Premier League, how many won the Premier League twice or more than twice? Mr Wenger and myself.”“How many won every competition in this country? Community Shield, Capital One Cup, FA Cup, Premier League. How many? How many?”"
Jose does have a point, he has been a dominant factor since setting foot in the Premier League. He led Chelsea to immediate success during his first stint, and he is trying his best to replicate that success this time around.

Mourinho can almost see the finish line, and has set the targets for his team — nine wins and they are champions. Well… with City dropping all three points vs Burnley yesterday, let’s make that eight wins.
The Blues actually need 23 points — or 22 with a better goal difference — to secure their first Premier League trophy in five years, certainly attainable isn’t it? Most of the players were not even present when Chelsea last lifted the trophy, and the manager believes this provides extra motivation.
"“I think we need nine victories. Eleven matches (to go). I think we need nine victories. We have to focus on nine victories.”If our direct opponents lose a couple of points, then you need eight victories and one draw or something like that, but at the moment we have to focus on nine victories.”“At the moment we have enough fingers. One month ago, not enough fingers. There will be a moment where we need five victories, we need four victories and I think this is a good way to do it. Don’t think about Man City, don’t think about Arsenal, just think about us.”"
If City drops any more points, things will only get easier for the Blues; but they can’t depend on rivals or look to the table — they just need to go out and win. Having the league’s best manager should probably make things a lot simpler.
(UPDATE: Make that 21 points.)
