It’s hard to bet against THAT, isn’t it?

ROSS BRAMBLE

League Champion – I will make this short and sweet; Chelsea.  Right up there last season when Mourinho was not even taking the title challenge seriously; the Portuguese gaffer was too busy putting all his energy into the Champions League campaign.

A few well placed improvements and replacements this summer via Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas, Felipe Luis and Didier Drogba and they now have everything necessary to take the top spot off of Manchester City.

Top Seven – Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton

Relegation – Burnley, Leicester City, West Brom

Top Goalscorer – Daniel Sturridge; He has all of the service, and I mean all of it.  Liverpool have a ridiculous amount of talent in attacking midfield, which will keep him well supplied and well fed all season long.  With his ability to finish, he should best his numbers from last season.

Young Player of the Year –  Much like Drew, I have to throw in two names; Ben Davies and James Ward Prowse.  Davies is in for a fantastic season at Spurs – Mauricio Pochettino has long been an admirer of his (wanted him to replace Luke Shaw when Southampton were still his employers before his move to London for the Spurs job), and he’ll have a plan for maximizing his effectivene rampaging down the left.

As for Prowse, he was brilliant last year, and is going to be even more heavily relied upon this year; which can only be good for his development mind you.  We all know he’s got a Beckham-esque et piece style, and with Rickie Lambert gone, he’ll be on set-piece duty.  He could have been our brightest light last season at St. Mary’s if there was not so much consistent competition ahead of him in all his strengths.  With Lambert, Adam Lallana and Jay Rodriguez still not fit? The stage is his.
