Today marked the second day of competitive action during the international break, so let’s see how the Premier League’s stars got on.

Kevin De Bruyne scored two goals for Belgium in their nations league opener at home to Israel. His first goal was assisted by club team mate Jeremie Doku. Youri Tielemans scored the other goal in a 3-1 win. Amadou Onana, Timothy Castagne (who scored an own goal), and Wout Faes also played.
Ibrahima Konate and William Saliba partnered each other at the heart of the France defence in their nations league opener, but they could not overcome their visitors Italy, and fell to a 3-1 defeat. Sandro Tonali assisted Federico Dimarcos wonderful goal on only his third game back from suspension. Riccardo Calafiori also started the game, though was withdrawn with injury on 71 minutes. Destiny Uodgie recorded an assist off the bench.
It was a frustrating afternoon for Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard in the nations league, whose Norway side could only draw 0-0 away to Kazakhstan. Sander Berge was a second half substitute.
Danny Ward, Ben Davies, Neco Williams, Harry Wilson and Brennan Johnson all started in Wales’ 0-0 draw at home to Turkey in the nations league.
Arijanet Muric played the 90 minutes in Kosovo’s 3-0 loss at home to Romania. Radu Dragusin played the whole game for Romania in this nations league fixture.
Noussair Mazraoui played the 90 minutes for Morocco in their 4-1 win over Gabon in AFCON qualifying.
Mohamed Salah captained Egypt and played the full game in a 3-0 win over Cape Verde in AFCON qualifying.

Simon Adingra played 86 minutes and registered an assist for the Ivory Coast in a 2-0 victory in AFCON qualifying. Amad Diallo played 70 minutes.
Axel Tuanzabe played the entire game in the DR Congo’s 1-0 win over Guinea in AFCON qualifying.
Yves Bissouma scored for Mali in their AFCON qualifying 1-1 draw at home to Mozambique, although had to be withdrawn later on.
Dean Huijsen scored for Spain U21s in their 2-1 Euros qualifier win over Scotland.
Morgan Rogers, Archie Gray, James McAtee, Elliot Anderson, Jarrell Quansah, and Taylor Harwood-Bellis all started for England U21 in a 0-0 draw at Northern Ireland in Euros qualifying. Liam Delap and Lewis Hall were second half substitutes.
Georginio Rutter and Wilson Odobert were second half substitutes for France U21s in a 1-1 draw to Slovenia in Euros qualifying.
