We recently looked at the Premier League stat leaders regarding individuals, so let's take a look at the stat leaders regarding each team in the Premier League. Which teams top the wanted and lesser wanted stats so far?

In fact, let's start with a neutral stat - possession. As expected, Manchester City lead the way with an average of 65.2% of the ball, with Spurs on second with 63.8%. Also as expected, Everton are bottom with 36.4% with Ipswich just behind with 37.8% average. Arsenal are in 17th, with 41.8%, although that is of course heavily skewed by the two red cards.

Liverpool and Aston Villa lead the way for big chances, with 21. Ipswich are bottom for this stat, with just five big chances in their games so far. That said, they have been dealt a rough hand by the fixtures so far in the most part.

Crystal Palace have made the most accurate long balls a game, with 22.2. Interestingly, Liverpool are in second, with exactly 20 - suggesting there is still some Klopp muscle memory at Anfield. Aston Villa are bottom of the list, with 10.4 per game.

Manchester United have had the most big chances missed in the league so far, with a staggering 17, five more than any other team (Liverpool, Spurs and Villa). Leicester City have missed the least amount with three. Ipswich are the second least with four, but that is from the above mentioned five big chances - so when they do get in good positions to score, they are not taking them.

Liverpool have conceded the least amount of goals in the league, with Callum Hudson-Odoi's beauty at Anfield the only one so far. Everyone else has conceded more than two. Everton and Wolves have both conceded 14, at least five more than any other team. Interesting stat considering both managers are known for their pragmatic style.
