After four matchdays of the 24/25 Premier League season, there have already been plenty of talking points. Let's take a look at the leaders of specific stats in the Premier League so far.

Premier League stat leaders after matchday four

Goals - an easy one to start off with, as Erling Haaland leads the way for a third straight season, with an incredible nine goals in the first four games of the Premier League season. The striker has scored in every game so far, including back-to-back hat-tricks. The opening day against Chelsea was the only time he has 'failed' to score more than once in a game.

Assists - Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer both lead the way with four assists so far. Saka's most recent assist was the all important goal in the North London derby, as he teed up Gabriel from a corner for the only goal of the game. Three of Palmer's four assists came in the 6-2 win at Wolves.

Big chances created - Dwight McNeil leads the way with five. The Everton man can feel aggrieved with his team mates, as those five big chances created have only lead to two assists.

Big chances missed - Ollie Watkins leads in the first stat that you don't want to be associated with - the England striker has six to his name so far, though did get his first two goals of the season at the weekend against Everton.

Successful dribbles per game - Mohammed Kudus, Adama Traore, and Jeremy Doku all lead the way with four dribbles per game, though it should be mentioned that Kudus and Traore have played four games, and Doku three.

Scoring frequency - Danny Ings leads the way, with a goal every 21 minutes. Usually stats will include a sample size (E.g. minimum games played) but due to the early nature of the season, that context has not been added yet, so the West Ham striker is out in front, even ahead of Jhon Duran.

Saves per game - Mark Flekken, Aaron Ramsdale and Neto all lead the way with 5.5 each. It should be said that Flekken has played four games, whilst Ramsdale and Neto have played two each. Ironically enough, both of those two have not played every game because they've elsewise been sat on Arsenal's bench.
