With the conclusion of the third round of the Carabao Cup, let's take a look and see how each and every Premier League side got on.

How every Premier League side got in the Carabao Cup third round

That is, other than Newcastle United. Their game away to League Two side AFC Wimbledon was postponed due to flooding in the area, making the pitch more than unplayable. The game will be played at St James' Park next week instead.

The third round actually started last Tuesday, as four Premier League sides took to the field, with two up against each other. Those two were Everton and Southampton, who played out a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park. The visitors triumphed with a 6-5 penalty shootout win, after a 1-1 draw. This means that the last ever Carabao Cup game at Goodison has now been played.

Brentford saw off League One side Leyton Orient with a 3-1 win at the Gtech community stadium, despite their visitors taking the lead.

Fulham traveled to Deepdale to face Preston North End, drawing 1-1 after the 90. The subsequent shootout was one of the craziest things you will see all season, with the hosts prevailing after a 16-15 win.

Finally, Crystal Palace picked up their first, and currently only win of the season away to QPR. Former R's man Eberechi Eze put up a goal and assist to carry his side to a 2-1 victory.

Then, last Wednesday, Manchester United comfortably saw off League One side Barnsley 7-0 at Old Trafford. Brighton beat fellow Prem side Wolves 3-2 in a quality game, before Spurs left it incredibly late to beat Coventry City 2-1, who suffer more domestic cup heartbreak.

Last night, Manchester City beat Championship side Watford 2-1, who had a goal controversially disallowed in the first half. Chelsea comfortably saw off Barrow 5-0 at home. Enzo Maresca's former side, however, did not get past their League Two opponents so easily, as Leicester City needed penalties to beat Walsall after a goalless draw.

Aston Villa beat Wycombe 2-1, with Jhon Duran on the scoresheet once again, though with some controversy, after seeming to dive for his penalty. Arsenal beat Bolton Wanderers 5-1, with highly rated youngster Ethan Nwaneri scoring a brace. Finally, Liverpool saw West Ham United off with a 5-1 win at Anfield, despite the Hammers taking the lead.

In the fourth round, Spurs host Manchester City, whilst it is a trip to Preston North End for Arsenal. Brentford host Sheffield Wednesday, whilst Southampton welcome Stoke City. The winner of Newcastle vs AFC Wimbledon will play at home to Chelsea. Aston Villa will host Crystal Palace.
