On Sunday afternoon, in the only game not on TV in the UK, Chelsea hosted Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.

For this game, Enzo Maresca went with an XI of; Sanchez, Gusto, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Madueke, Palmer, Sancho; Jackson.

Meanwhile, Nuno opted for; Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murilo, Moreno; Yates, Ward-Prowse; Hudson-Odoi, Gibbs-White, Anderson; Wood.

The first half was fairly dull, with Chelsea having most of the ball, as you'd expect, but not doing a crazy amount with it, as Forest's stubborn defence held firm, and the sides went into the half time break goaless.

It would take just four second half minutes for there to be a goal though, as Chris Wood scored his fourth goal in seven Premier League games so far this season to give Forest an unlikely lead.

It wouldn't last for very long, however. Noni Madueke picked the ball up on the right hand side following a pass from Cole Palmer, before cutting inside onto his favoured left foot and firing in a well taken low and powerful shot into the bottom corner.

James Ward-Prowse would be seen a second yellow card for holding onto the ball with his hand to delay a Chelsea free-kick, although his sacrifise would be worth it, as Forest held on for a hard fought point despite playing the closing stages of the game with ten men.

Conceringly, Morgan Gibbs-White had to be withdrawn with injury in the second half, putting his participation with the England senior team at risk. The likes of James Maddison and Morgan Rogers, who have been in good form, could be drafted into replace the Forest man.

This result halts Chelsea's five game winning streak in all competitions, with their last points dropped at home to Crystal Palace also coming before an international break.

As for Forest, this result means that only Chelsea and Liverpool have picked up more points on the road than their eight so far (some teams have played one fewer game), despite the fact that they have only picked up two points at the City ground so far, in an interesting quirk.
