Leicester City 1-3 Nottingham Forest: As it happened
16 minutes into the game, Forest would take the lead as a poor clearance fell to Yates on the edge of the box, who fired into the bottom corner with a well taken finish.
The lead would not last very long, however, as the timeless Vardy attacked a superb left footed cross from Harry Winks, just seven minutes later. The teams would go into the break at 1-1.
However, just two minutes later, Wood would continue his fine form, as he turned and drilled a shot into the bottom corner, in a superbly taken finish for his 75th Premier League goal.
On the hour mark, a clearance from Sels up field caught Faes in two minds, and his header back to Hermansen was anticipated by Wood, who looped a header over the Danish goalkeeper.
Nine minutes later, Yates failed to score from point blank range to add his second goal of the game. A ball was flicked on from a set piece, but he was unable to make the points absolutely safe.
It mattered little, however, as the game seriously petered out after that, with Forest hanging on with absolute ease to secure the three points.
This win leaves Forest fifth in the Premier League, with sixteen points from nine games. Meanwhile, Leicester are in 14th place, with nine points from their nine games.
