The rivals of recent history, Liverpool and Manchester City, could soon compete for the same signing of this talented UEFA Golden Boy nominee.
The Premier League is home to some of the finest young talent in the world. Think of the likes of Erling Haaland, Bukayo Saka and Ansu Fati. All of which are predicted to have great futures, but hone their craft in the greatest league in the world. Certainly, the Premier League has plenty of pull factor, particularly the biggest teams in the league.
In recent history, Liverpool has been a very good place to develop as a young player. With Jurgen Klopp at the helm of the club, he has a way of developing young players which is unmatched by many of the continent’s finest managers.
Further, Manchester City have produced some great young talents in recent seasons. Not only this, but it’s been a tempting place for aspiring young players to go and develop their game, under the immense tutelage of the best manager in history, Pep Guardiola. With that in mind, there could be an interesting transfer tussle between the two great English clubs.
Liverpool and Manchester City compete to sign Jamal Musiala
According to a report by Sport, Manchester City are interested in signing Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich. But as per BILD, they will face competition from Liverpool, who also hold an interest in the UEFA Golden Boy nominee.
Certainly, it could be an interesting transfer battle between the new-age rivals. Jamal Musiala may be feeling like his dreams of winning the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or are running thin at the Allianz Arena, therefore a move to the most competitive league in the world could be on the cards for the wonderkid.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp has already made moves for Musiala.
