Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta wants to sign 22-year-old Miguel Gutierrez

According to a report from Fichajes (via 90min), Arsenal are after a new left-back. With this transfer wish in mind, they are being linked to a move for Miguel Gutierrez, who plays for Girona and has previously played for Real Madrid.

Certainly, Gutierrez is a player who would suit Mikel Arteta. He has the ability to play as a left-back or a left midfielder. Certainly very attacking in his approach, he could provide sufficient back-up to the star Alex Zinchenko.

Having made eight appearances in the league for Girona and providing one assist, he’s certainly an important member of their team. Therefore, it could take a big offer to persuade them to let the 22-year-old leave. Although, as proven in recent history, Arsenal are prepared to offer big for the players who they think would benefit them the most.
