West Ham are keeping their eyes on a London-born sensation from Arsenal. Rumour has it, he was “upset” after the recent Bournemouth match.

West Ham have started the season well, including in the Europa League. Currently. David Moyes’ side sit seventh in the Premier League table which is an improvement on last season. Admittedly, they would like to be higher, but given some great glimpses in certain matches, they could certainly achieve progression in this Premier League table.

With this in mind, Moyes has one eye on the January transfer window with an interest in strengthening the unity within the Hammers squad. To do so, he has shortlisted an Arsenal fan favourite.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, West Ham are monitoring the situation of 23-year-old Emile Smith Rowe of Arsenal. With an intent to sign the Englishman in the January transfer window, it could depend on if he picks up more regular game time for the Gunners.

At the moment, he’s a fringe player. He will often come on in the second half of matches or towards the ends of the match. Given the potential he displayed at a young age, he would hope to be higher in the pecking order than this.

But certainly, he loves Arsenal. The fans and Mikel Arteta all want him to achieve, hence the consistent chances to make a name for himself. In the most recent Premier League match against Bournemouth, he came off the bench and had some chances to score. However, pictures which emerged on social media after the match suggested he was upset with himself, particularly not to convert one clear-cut opportunity.
