As Mikel Arteta prepares for his toughest home game of the season so far, here’s the Arsenal predicted lineup vs Man City.

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Man City

GK: David Raya. He made some mistakes in the midweek game against Lens in the Champions League. However, I think he’ll still be top of the pecking order for Mikel Arteta. Hey, maybe this might be the game where Arteta executes his idea to rotate goalkeepers mid game.

RB: Ben White. Rested in midweek for Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ben White will surely return to the starting lineup. He’s the number one choice for the right-back slot and should be trusted more than his Japanese counterpart against Jeremy Doku.

CB: William Saliba. The Rolls Royce defender will be tested against Erling Haaland but if anyone can deal with the Norwegian, it’s this man.

CB: Gabriel. Gabriel plays with his heart on his sleeve every time he wears Arsenal red. It’s these occasions which will matter the most to the Brazilian, so he will certainly start.

LB: Alex Zinchenko. Coming up against his former club, there will be no friends on the pitch. Zinchenko will play his own game and hope this inspires his teammates to grab the important three points.
