Arsenal injury news – Thomas Partey returns to training

Although he wasn’t due back until the October international break, Thomas Partey has been handed a significant boost in his recovery as he’s been spotted back in training. According to journalist Simon Collings, the Ghanaian international who is nursing a groin injury has returned to training ahead of a big week for Arsenal.

BIG boost!

Arsenal injury news – Bukayo Saka is also training

The rapid English starboy Bukayo Saka was also spotted in training for the Gunners. This is a huge relief for Mikel Arteta, who had to take Saka off in the recent match against Bournemouth as he appeared to suffer a knock.

Saka is susceptible to rough treatment from his opposition. It’s no secret that the only way to stop Saka is through sheer force, therefore he’s often the target of bad tackles. Either way, he’s got off scot-free so far, long may this continue.

Arsenal injury news – Gabriel Martinelli wasn’t in training

As per the final update from Collings, the Brazil winger Gabriel Martinelli wasn’t in training ahead of the Lens match tomorrow night. He isn’t expected to start anyway as he’s still nursing his injury, but Mikel Arteta will hope to have him back in time for the important Manchester City clash.

Oh – Of course, Jurrien Timber still isn’t training. His injury is long term, so he isn’t expected back anytime soon.
