As Mikel Arteta prepares for his first away Champions League night as manager, here’s the Arsenal predicted lineup vs Lens.

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Lens

GK: David Raya – I think this selection speaks for itself. With four starts under his belt now and three clean sheets, Raya has established himself as the Arsenal number one. Although Mikel Arteta doesn’t like to admit it, that’s clear.

RB: Ben White – After scoring a goal in the Premier League on Saturday, Ben White will be full of confidence. He doesn’t seem to be affected by squad rotation, so he’ll be expecting to start in this important Champions League fixture.

CB: Takehiro Tomiyasu – Affording some rest for Saliba, Tomiyasu is on the fringe of first team football so this will be a good opportunity for Mikel Arteta to start him. Furthermore, there seems to be a project ongoing where Tomiyasu is trialled at centre back as he is for his country, so it’s a great chance to see that tactic played out again.

CB: Gabriel – Providing some more familiarity will be Gabriel, who’s cemented himself as the second centre back choice in this Arsenal XI after being dropped at the start of the season.

LB: Alex Zinchenko – One of the star players in that 4-0 thrashing against Bournemouth, Zinchenko lives for nights like these. He’s a sure starter.
