Manchester United have started the season poorly. In a game which felt like a must-win against Brighton and Hove Albion, they threw their Old Trafford streak, which was the only good thing they had going for them, down the drain. An embarrassing performance from Erik ten Hag’s players sees them dejected and it doesn’t look to turn around any time soon.

There is some ongoing conflict behind the scenes at Manchester United – If you’ve been living under a rock, I mean the dispute between Jadon Sancho and Erik ten Hag. It seems that the method which the manager is taking is to exile the player, as he is training alone and not involved with the first team in any capacity at the moment.

Barcelona monitor Jadon Sancho’s exile at Manchester United

According to an update from Sport, it’s claimed that Barcelona are interested in signing Jadon Sancho from Manchester United. Amid his exile from the first team, the Barcelona giants are monitoring his situation and could give him a new lease of life in a star-studded young Barcelona team.

Described by Rory Jennings as a “flop”, Jadon Sancho could jump at the opportunity of turning his career around at a gigantic superclub. Since he doesn’t stand a chance at Manchester United and was even linked with a career-ending move to Saudi Arabia, to be offered the chance to represent Barcelona just a few weeks later is an amazing turnaround and it couldn’t have gone better for Sancho.

Do you think Barcelona will sign Jadon Sancho?
