Lille is playing the Conference League’s playoffs today against Rijeka, but that is not the only issue that the manager, Paulo Fonseca, has. As already reported, Carlos Baleba is close to signing with Brighton, and the Portuguese coach talked about this happening before the game.

"“There is the possibility that Carlos Baleba will leave. But he is here today. He will be in the match. He has to be concentrated on our match because he is here. I have spoken with Carlos. He is very motivated to be part of the group for this match”, told Fonseca at the press conference before the game."

According to reports from TNT Sports Argentina, the Newell’s Old Boys forward Brian Aguirre is wanted by Brighton and Leicester. Although the Argentinian has a contract until December of 2025, it is reported that the Seagulls’ offer would be close to €9.2m.
