Chelsea: Mauricio Pochettino FINALLY disposes of wantaway flop
By Kian Long
Mauricio Pochettino is at the helm at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea look all the better for it. They dropped two points in their opening gameweek in the Premier League, however, it was against tough opposition Liverpool. Still, the Blues looked much better tactically than they did last season and to get a point against the fierce Liverpool is not a bad result overall.
Pochettino has changed many things at Chelsea, even making micro-developments to the atmosphere and environment in which the players train in. Further, he has had some good involvements in the transfer window and shifted out some players who needed to be moved on.
The latest player who will depart Chelsea is Hakim Ziyech. The Morocco midfielder needed to be moved on, I think that’s fair to say. Although he had a great World Cup campaign last year, he failed to replicate this form at Stamford Bridge and has been wanting to move away ever since.
In fact, he came close to leaving in January, but delayed timings meant that he has to remain a Chelsea player for another six months.
Galatasary hope to announce signing of Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea today
Thankfully for all parties involved, this drawn-out transfer saga will come to an end today. According to the trusted journalist Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray hope to announce the signing of Ziyech today, as all papers have been signed and medical tests completed.
Certainly, Ziyech is a great signing for Galatasary. It’s not his fault that his time at Chelsea wasn’t a success because unfortunately for him, he was signed during the period of transition which was complete turmoil. Now, the talented player can get back to his best in the Super Lig.
Do you have any good memories of Hakim Ziyech in a Chelsea shirt?
