Three Liverpool players you HAVE to sign in FPL for the 2023/24 season

3. Ibrahima Konate (5.0M) – DEF
Mo Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alisson don’t make the list as they’re too obvious, and no one’s a genius for suggesting them. Signing Erling Haaland doesn’t win you your fantasy league. Owning the hidden gems and taking risks is what separates the best from the rest in FPL. Much like Gakpo, taking Konate is a risk, but he comes at a very reasonable price.
The Frenchman dealt with injuries last season that saw him play just 18 Premier League matches. Konate had seven clean sheets last season in just 17 starts. When he finally got fit near the end of the season, Liverpool went on a fantastic run of form. From March onwards, Liverpool lost just twice in the 13 matches Konate featured in. He is a lock to start alongside Virgil Van Dijk, so it is a matter of if he can stay healthy; if so, he will be up some serious FPL numbers this season.
