2. Cody Gakpo (7.5M) – FWD

A bit of a steeper price, Gakpo currently is selected by just 6.1% of FPL players. The Netherlands international may not be a pencilled-in starter for every match under Jurgen Klopp, but he is surely to be one of the regulars in the attack. Last season, he started 17 of the 21 matches he was available. In half a season, Gakpo picked up 90 fantasty points, with ten goal contributions in just 21 Premier League matches.

This is definitely a bit of a risk, I’ll admit, but I like the potential for Gakpo to really shine with Liverpool this season and be worth the price. I think between him, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz, who are all the same price, he is the best bet to have the most FPL points at the end of the season.
