With Barcelona trying to raise some funds to balance the books, they are more open than ever to clear some players. One player who fans may not wish to see leave, though, is Christensen. The former Chelsea centre back featured in many games for Barca in their title winning campaign.

However, centre back is an area of concern for Jurgen Klopp. Although a lot of his emphasis has been on signing midfielders, and understandably so, he has also made it clear he would like to strengthen his defence. Ideally, a new centre back and right-back will be signed.

Christensen is one player who Liverpool are currently working on. According to Football365, Liverpool plan to submit an improved bid to sign him in the coming days. The report claims that the opening bid from the Anfield club was immediately rejected by Barca, but a new and improved bid which is closer to the valuation for Christensen is being planned.

I would say this deal is somewhat likely, but it depends how much extra the board are willing to pay for him.
