Liverpool are finally active again in the transfer window. Having already signed some massive names in Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, Jurgen Klopp is keen to bring in some more quality to pad out his team for next season.

Next season, the Reds will play in the Europa League. This is below what is expected of them, however, given the trajectory of last season, fans will accept the second fiddle European competition as their fate.

The 3 signings Jurgen Klopp hopes to make at Liverpool

Europa League qualification does mean that Klopp needs to think about rotation. At the moment, given all the departures, his squad is not quite there. With that being said, here are THREE signings Klopp plans to make before the transfer window closes…

1. Romeo Lavia (Very likely – Southampton)

We reported earlier today that Jurgen Klopp plans to narrow the gap in valuation with Southampton, which would secure the signing of Romeo Lavia. Of the three signings expressed within this article, Lavia seems like the most advanced as a bid has already been submitted with a second planned.

Lavia is a hungry professional who wants the best out of his career. However, given Southampton’s relegation, he can only guarantee by moving elsewhere.

Given Klopp’s reputation of building up young players into some of the best in the world, this will certainly be a pull factor for Lavia. Although, there will be competition, hence why the Reds are trying to be quick and efficient in negotiations.
