Chelsea have signed MANY players over the last few transfer windows. This was all well and good but since most of them haven’t lived up to expectation, this transfer window is about offloading some players to free up space in the squad.

With Mauricio Pochettino at the helm, this is the perfect opportunity for Chelsea to start fresh. The focus is not so much on big signings, maybe one big signing, but instead the focus is on clearing some deadwood as stated.

As far as deadwood goes, there aren’t many as big as Christian Pulisic. The USMNT prodigy who signed for the Blues in 2019, although he did go back to Dortmund instantly on loan. When he arrived, what came with him was a load of hype.

What I would put this down to is men’s football not being the most strongest sport in USA. It’s no wonder they put a lot of hype on Pulisic because he is their best player, however, he just doesn’t cut it in the best league in the world.

Christian Pulisic will imminently leave Chelsea

Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, Pulisic’s exit from Chelsea to sign for AC Milan is “imminent” after the two clubs met for discussions today.

Pulisic handed in a transfer request, which was granted by new manager Mauricio Pochettino. I’m sure that Pulisic’s time in Serie A will be much more fruitful than his time in the Premier League. Although, in the nicest possible way, it doesn’t take a lot for him to beat his time in the Premier League.

Do you think Pulisic will be a success for AC Milan?
