Chelsea transfer news – Cesar Azpilicueta officially leaves

After having his contract terminated out of respect to the player, Chelsea officially said their goodbyes to Cesar Azpilicueta yesterday. The Spanish defender who played in a multitude of positions and was given the name “Dave” by fans and teammates will join Atletico Madrid.

As a neutral fan, it is safe to say that Azpi will go down as a Premier League legend. He truly embodied what it meant to be a Chelsea player of his generation. Best of luck in Madrid, Dave.

Chelsea transfer news – Christian Pulisic edges closer to AC Milan move

As reported by the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and AC Milan will be involved in direct negotiations to get the transfer of Christian Pulisic over the line. Pulisic, who handed in a transfer request to leave Chelsea, has been clear the whole time: He wants AC Milan.

Pulisic never truly lived up to the hype. With USMNT fans claiming he was the next best thing, Premier League fans who didn’t know too much about him expected big things. In truth, Pulisic did not meet those expectations and his time at Chelsea was “mid” at best.

Chelsea transfer news – More than £100m required for Moises Caicedo

Since Chelsea have been involved in lengthy discussions with Brighton and Hove Albion over the signing of Moises Caicedo, the two clubs are yet to reach a compromise. According to The Telegraph, the Seagulls are clear in their stance and it could require more than £100m to sign Caicedo.
