Manchester United transfer news – Swap deal for Mason Mount

Big news today has revealed that Manchester United are stepping up their efforts to sign Mason Mount. Indeed, The Guardian even state that Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Mason Mount. Further, Fabrizio Romano has told GIVEMESPORT that further developments will be made since United are pushing hard to sign Mount.

The full extent of the deal is yet to be revealed since we know that Chelsea value Mount at around £50m. However, the Red Devils are willing to use Harry Maguire as a makeweight, as reported by The Top Flight earlier today.

Manchester United transfer news – £64m offer could be made for Diogo Costa

Manchester United need to sign a goalkeeper in this transfer window. Although it’s not their main priority given they have David de Gea, they will need to sign sufficient backup or someone who can compete with the Spaniard for game time.

According to the latest report from Fichajes, Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa could be that player. The report states that United are prepared to offer around £64m for Costa. Although, they will face competition from Juventus and Barcelona (I think it’s clear who the financial winner is out of those three clubs).

Manchester United transfer news – £43m price tag for Rasmus Hojlund

Manchester United would like to sign an elite finisher, with Rasmus Hojlund thought to be their more budget-friendly option should the likes of Victor Osimhen and Harry Kane fall through. Although, a report from Tutto Mercato (via Inside Futbol) claims that Atalanta will accept no less than £43m for Hojlund.
