Manchester United transfer news – Moving on from £60m target

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’d know that Manchester United wanted to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta. However, things may have taken a U-turn given the club’s most recent valuation.

According to a report this morning from Football Transfers, Manchester United would struggle to sign the striker for anything less than £60m – a fee which Erik ten Hag isn’t likely to pay.

Do not get this twisted – The pursuit of Kim Min-Jae is by no means a panic buy.

According to the highly trusted transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have been interested in Kim Min-Jae for a long time. He told Give Me Sport that any deal which could be struck between Manchester United and Napoli would be at least seven months in the making as Man United have always seen him as the successor for Harry Maguire when he leaves this summer.

As per The Top Flight, Arsenal will not be able to sign Harry Kane this summer because the Englishman would lose any ties he has at Spurs if he makes that move. This is a boost for United because while Arsenal probably wouldn’t have been interested anyway, it takes away one big club.

Having recently secured their spot in the Premier League next season, Nottingham Forest want to permanently sign a player who has helped them do that, Dean Henderson. According to Manchester Evening News, the Midlands-based club will offer £30m, making Henderson their record signing.
