Arsenal transfer news – Mikel Arteta personally wants Ilkay Gundogan

Having worked with the Germany international during his time at the Etihad Stadium, Mikel Arteta has personally demanded that Arsenal signs Ilkay Gundogan. The Manchester City star is set to play his final game as a Citizen, given that his contract runs out in a few weeks time.

According to trustworthy source The Athletic, Mikel Arteta personally wants to sign Ilkay Gundogan. Currently on £165k a week, it remains to be seen whether Stan Kroenke is willing to supply such wages, although it is likely since he trusts Arteta to make the right decisions.

Arsenal transfer news – Arsenal won’t give up on Vitor Roque

A fresh report from Mundo Deportivo suggests that Arsenal are not giving up on their long-time target Vitor Roque. The report claims that Barcelona are also now interested in signing the Athletico Paranaense striker, but the Gunners are in a much better financial position so could easily convince the 18-year-old to join them.

The report claims that Athletico Paranaense are holding out for a €35m offer, something which only Arsenal could provide to them.

Arsenal transfer news – Any remaining hopes for Harry Kane can go

I don’t think anybody really thought Harry Kane would sign for Arsenal but if you did, you can kiss those hopes goodbye. According to HITC, Harry Kane would never make the controversial move to Arsenal, because he would lose any remaining ties he has at Spurs if he did.

Kane will surely leave the trophy-dodgers this season. It’s better for his legacy if he does.
