Liverpool Transfer News – Chelsea is still monitoring the Alexis Mac Allister situation
According to Fabrizio Romano via his YouTube Channel, Chelsea is still keeping tabs on Alexis Mac Allister ahead of this summer transfer window. As reported by The Top Flight and reiterated by Romano, Liverpool is still in advanced talks with the midfielder. Despite this, Chelsea has yet to remove Mac Allister from their shortlist. With Mauricio Pochettino all but confirmed to join Chelsea, Mac Allister joining forces with a fellow Argentine has not been ruled out.
While a hijack for Mac Allister is not imminent, it is something Liverpool fans should watch closely.
Liverpool Transfer News – Kostas Tsimikas sounds out any potential departure from Anfield
Recently revealed in an exclusive interview with Greek site Gazzetta, Kostas Tsimikas revealed he has no thoughts of leaving Liverpool for more playing time.
"“To tell the truth, I haven’t thought of myself in the colours of another team, especially in England. I try to be focused and give my best for the team I play for.” (source)"
He was also asked about playing time during his tenure at Liverpool. As this season has gone on, the left-back has been used fairly sporadically. Andy Robertson holds down that starting position and there is no reason to believe that will change soon under Klopp.
"“For me this is the most difficult, at times you have to come to terms with some situations that make you feel very disadvantaged. You ask yourself ‘what do I need to do more of? What do I need to improve on? Am I not good?’. And that’s how all the problems start.” (source)"
At the moment, Tsimikas seems content to fight for more playing time. That tune could always change though. The Greek international clearly has some frustrations with not being picked often.
Liverpool Transfer News – Loan manager David Woodfine expected to leave the club
