Chelsea transfer news – Christopher Nkunku deal to be completed over summer

According to Football London, Mauricio Pochettino’s first deal may have taken place before he’s even been confirmed. The English outlet confirms that Chelsea will complete their deal to sign Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig over the summer.

It’s a bizarre transfer since nothing has been confirmed yet, but the tabloids speak with absolute certainty that he’s joining Stamford Bridge. It’s thought that the deal was completed towards the tail end of the last calendar year.

Chelsea transfer news – Sadio Mane pursued by the Chelsea board

The Top Flight reported this evening that the Chelsea board were considering a shock move for the ex Liverpool star Sadio Mane. Currently in a love-hate relationship at Bayern Munich, it’s thought that Todd Boehly wants to exploit this.

Given Mane’s experience of helping clubs from failure to success, it makes sense that he’s been shortlisted to play under the new project at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea transfer news – Mauricio Pochettino desperate to sign Sadio Mane

Linking to the earlier report, Mauricio Pochettino has had his say on the potential of signing Sadio Mane. Unsurprisingly, the Argentine boss would jump at the chance of working with the Liverpool legend and has even instructed the board to make the deal happen “instantly”, according to Football Insider.

It’s good to see that Pochettino is involving himself with the board’s decision and having his say, not being bullied like previous Chelsea managers have. A £30m bid for Sadio Mane is thought to seal the deal, so it seems like a no brainer for any club.
