According to FootMercato, Arsenal have joined the race alongside Liverpool to sign Ajax’s talented right-back Devyne Rensch. The 20-year-old is versatile as he can also play as a centre back or part of a back three, but his ideal position is right-back.
Therefore, Klopp sees him as the ideal replacement to Trent Alexander-Arnold who has turned his season around recently and in inspired form as of late. However, the Reds will need to prove an attractive destination by qualifying for the Champions League – a tough ask.

Liverpool transfer news – James Milner could sadly be on his way out
When you think of legendary English players in the Premier League, James Milner isn’t the first to spring to mind, but he should be. He’s the unsung hero which has won multiple trophies throughout his career, including the Premier League and Champions League. Playing in essentially every position available, Milner really has done it all in his 20-year career.
Although, The Top Flight reported earlier that he is attracting interest elsewhere. Given his age, Liverpool may feel it best to reinvest into younger players to mount their challenge back to Premier League stardom. It’s thought that Vincent Kompany’s Burnley and Brighton see his experience as valuable.
