Arsenal players are hyped for every single game they play. That’s the key difference between this set of players and previous teams. Infamously, the Gunners see the final Premier League run in as a final 10 cup finals. With that being said, here are 3 players who I think will determine the result in the upcoming cup final against Leeds United.
1. Arsenal starboy Bukayo Saka
The previous fixture against Leeds United was quite a tasty one, wasn’t it?
If you remember, the game finished 1-0 to Arsenal, but it was the most entertaining and hard-fought 1-0 win of the season so far. Patrick Bamford came close to scoring many times, even missing a penalty. Gabriel got a red card which was quickly changed to a yellow card, and so on. Long story short, it was a tasty affair.
And Saka got the important and only goal in this fixture. That’s what the starboy does. He steps up with big contributions at big moments in big matches. Expect him to step up in this one.
2. That man again, Gabriel
We know just how great Gabriel can be. He’s particularly shown us his capabilities in recent matches.
However, he’s likely to be without his main defensive partner, William Saliba. Although Rob Holding can certainly do a job here, as proven against Crystal Palace, the leadership at the back will come from Gabriel.
No heart attacks this time please, Gabi.
3. A goal to break the draught for Gabriel Jesus
Gabriel Jesus has been one of the best signings in the Premier League, and he’d probably make a claim for THE best if he didn’t pick up that injury.
But it might shock you to say that he’s not scored a goal in his last 17 matches. Yep, his last goal came at the start of October against Spurs.
He’s got a lot more to his game than just goals, this is obvious. However, being his own harshest critic, he’ll want to get back on the score board. I back him to do that in this match.
