Manchester United could break the internet this summer with another huge signing. Having made significant progress under Erik ten Hag, it’s expected the board will repay him by granting his wishes in the transfer window.

Erik ten Hag wants to strengthen in attack, this is absolutely clear. They’ve been linked with a monumental signing of Victor Osimhen, who scored a brace to send Napoli into the next knockout round in the Champions League.

However, this hasn’t hindered the Red Devils’ pursuit of a midfielder. Ten Hag still sees his midfield options as inadequate – Fred, for example, does a good job at filling in, but they’ve relied on him far too much this season. Refreshing and upgrading their options in the midfield will prove invaluable as United seek more success next season.

According to the latest report from The Telegraph claims that Manchester United are still very firmly in the running for Jude Bellingham. The 19-year-old midfielder who is valued at a whopping £110m by Borussia Dortmund, is seeking Champions League football next season, something United have a much higher chance of achieving than Premier League rivals Liverpool.

Bellingham was one of the best young players at the World Cup last year. Starring for England, he proved his status on the biggest stage of them all, and has since returned to great form for club Dortmund.

We know from recent history that Borussia Dortmund are a selling club, so it’s not expected he’ll spend his career there. However, United will have to cough up a fair wad of cash if they’re to sign the generational talent.

As mentioned earlier, Ten Hag has given the board all the more reason to trust his process, but even he’ll have to do some convincing to release this kind of fund.

Do you think Manchester United will sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund?
