Manchester United have been greeted to a major injury boost ahead of their upcoming Europa League clash against Barcelona.

Phew. We can finally catch our breath after the emphatic Champions League action last night. After tonight’s fixtures, attention will turn to the Europa League, where Manchester United host Barcelona in the second-leg of their Europa League tie which currently stands at 2-2.

Luckily for Erik ten Hag, he’s been greeted to some positive news on the injury front ahead of this vital fixture. According to Metro, Antony looks to be available for the Barcelona match, after he was pictured in training.

This doesn’t only come as a positive ahead of the Barcelona match, but in their upcoming match against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final too. Even if Antony doesn’t start in the Europa League, he will almost certainly start at Wembley.

Manchester United are hoping to get lucky in the Premier League too. While their eyes are on securing the top four, they’re aware they could climb the table if the two teams ahead of them, Man City and Arsenal, slip up. They shouldn’t be counted out of the title race, particularly with key players coming back.

Rival fans are quick to call Antony a flop because he’s not in double figures. However, Erik ten Hag sees him as a project and he’s certainly not a bad player when available. He’ll prove crucial in the final stages of the season.

The game kicks off at 8pm GMT tomorrow evening and Manchester United have the home advantage. Barcelona are top of the LaLiga table so you could argue their priorities are elsewhere from the Europa League, but it’s never an easy task to face Barca.
