Rodri- 5

Dreadful. Absolutely dreadful, quite possibly one of the worst performances Rodri has had in a Manchester City shirt. Despite what stats may tell you, his passing was loose at times and it was one of those loose passes that turned into a Harry Kane goal, their only of the game. Extremely disappointing from normally a top performer on City’s side.

Bernardo – 7

Bernardo Silva was respectable today for City. In the first 10-15 minutes, he was all over Spurs and his pressing won the ball back on numerous occasions high up the pitch, which would normally result in decent chances under Guardiola.

His early performance could be a positive for Manchester City, as they will need his energy and experience if they are to go on and win some silverware this season. He has been out of favor in this team of late. When City is flying, Bernardo Silva is involved, simply put.

Julian Alvarez – 6

Almost had an incredible equalizer from a well-worked free quick routine by Kevin De Bruyne, but had his attempt blocked by Eric Dier. In the end, like for many attackers today in City blue, it was a quiet day. When given service, he often found himself in good positions between the lines and carried a threat going forward, but it just didn’t work out for him in a stagnant performance all-around from his team.
