Chelsea legend John Terry slammed Arsenal on Twitter this morning

That was one of the best transfer deadline days in some time. While deals are still being wrapped up and yet to be announced, it looks like Arsenal have completed all their business. After signing Leandro Trossard and Jakub Kiwior, they completed the window by signing Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.
As if it needed to be brought back, this reignited the rivalry between Chelsea and Arsenal fans. It is one of the most fierce rivalries in England, with the two constantly debating over who is the bigger club.
And Chelsea legend John Terry is no different. This morning, he was involved in a fiery exchange on Twitter with renowned Arsenal fan Piers Morgan. The veteran defender stated that even he had won more trophies since he retired than Arsenal had.
Fair play, John, fair play.
He’s right – they do have a long way to go. But this exchange just proves a deep dislike for Arsenal from legends of the game. Mikel Arteta has easily made the Gunners the best team in England this season, perhaps even the world. Yet still, the narrative “you still have a long way to go” or “you’re due a tough period” remains.
The truth is, John Terry has joined Gary Neville in being a bitter rival. All Mikel Arteta can do is to keep winning games as they have done against Chelsea and Manchester United already. There is a long way to go and it certainly won’t be as easy as they made the first half of the season look, but they are favourites. I for one am full of confidence when I say the Gunners will win the league.
Where do you think Arsenal will finish?
