According to Portuguese outlet Record, Chelsea are planning to re-vamp their former interest in Enzo Fernandez. We know already that Benfica will hold out for his release clause of £106m, but this won’t stop Todd Boehly from trying. It would push Chelsea’s spending under the American businessman to well over £500m.
Chelsea transfer news – Chelsea try again for Moises Caicedo
Recently, Chelsea had a bid rejected for Moises Caicedo. However, according to the Guardian, Graham Potter’s side could soon return with a freshened bid for the Ecuadorian midfielder. The Top Flight reported earlier that Arsenal were confident in signing him, so this could turn into another feisty transfer battle.

The Times (subscription required) have reported that Chelsea will offer Thiago Silva a contract extension. The deal would see him tied down to Chelsea past the age of 39 years old.
