The transfer window drama is far from over at Stamford Bridge…

In today’s Chelsea transfer news – Chelsea expect to make one more big signing from the Premier League, four departures will be completed before the window ends, and a transfer target of theirs prefers to move to Arsenal.

Here’s what the headlines are saying…

Chelsea transfer news – The Blues still have an interest in Moises Caicedo

Chelsea recently had a £55m bid turned down from Brighton and Hove Albion for midfielder Moises Caicedo. However, according to Football London, Todd Boehly and co. still want to complete the deal before the window is up, still being interested in him.

It remains to be seen whether Brighton will stand true to their valuation of Caicedo but as we’ve seen from Chelsea so far this season, their financial backing is winning over teams left, right and centre.

Chelsea transfer news – 3 players to depart in the next week

After an action packed first half of the January transfer window, Chelsea fans can expect things to slow down. There will still be action, of course, but it will be players exiting.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Hakim Ziyech is expected to leave, potentially signing for AC Milan. Football London claim the other two departures will be Conor Gallagher, with Crystal Palace or Newcastle wanting him on loan and Aubameyang to leave (although he can only sign for Barcelona, as per FIFA rules).

Chelsea transfer news – Declan Rice prefers Arsenal

It’s no secret that Chelsea want to sign Declan Rice. For the last few seasons, all the headlines have linked the West Ham United to a trip across the Thames.

However, it has today been revealed that Declan Rice would rather sign for Arsenal. Of course, this probably won’t stop Chelsea. Having already signed Mudryk, who didn’t even want to sign for the 10th-place club, they will likely try to imprison Declan Rice as well.
