Here’s how Arsenal should lineup against Manchester United on Sunday.

Arsenal hosts Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon. It will be Mikel Arteta’s biggest test yet, as United is the only side his team have lost to in the Premier League this season.

In Arsenal’s last Premier League match, they comfortably beat rivals Spurs. In Manchester United’s recent league match, they dropped two points to Crystal Palace. Therefore, the Gunners will have the upper-hand in terms of confidence heading into this match.

It is the perfect chance for Mikel Arteta to silence the haters – including Manchester United legend Gary Neville who had some firm words to say on Arsenal throughout the week.

Let’s take a look at how Arsenal will lineup in this match…

Goalkeeper

It goes without saying that Aaron Ramsdale will start. While his only competition Matt Turner has put in some good displays in the cup, Ramsdale is the number one between the sticks for a reason. Given his antics against Spurs, and being man of the match, Ramsdale will feel up for this fixture.

Ramsdale has kept 9 clean sheets this season, only bettered by Nick Pope of Newcastle. If there is ever a time to add to his tally, it would be by keeping a clean sheet against the rampant United attack.
