#2) Steven Gerrard
Club: Aston Villa
League Position: 17th

The Liverpool legend’s job is on the line at Villa Park following an unwelcomed start to his first full season in charge of Villa. The Birmingham-based outfit spent €70 million in the transfer window to bolster all departments. However, the signings’ lack of form is turning into a colossal headache for Steven Gerrard.

In the ongoing season, Aston Villa have just four points from six games. They have only one win to their account and are just above the relegation zone based on goal difference. The performances have been far from convincing in the recent games. The hard-earned draw against Manchester City has kept Steven Gerrard at his job.

It is safe to say that the Liverpool legend is on borrowed time at Villa Park. He will face Southampton, Leeds United, Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, and Fulham in the next five Premier League games. Nothing less than two wins can provide job security for the manager.
