Tottenham Hotspur interested in signing Manchester United midfielder

Tottenham have done a complete revamp under Italian manager Antonio Conte and are now looking like a much stronger squad.
The London outfit has signed several players this window, including Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence.
However, it doesn’t look like Tottenham are done adding new players. According to recent reports, the Spurs are now interested in signing Manchester United youngster James Garner.
James Garner is a product of United’s youth academy and has featured seven times for the first team. The player was admired by both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Jose Mourinho and looked as if he would have a long career with the Red Devils.
The 21-year-old spent the latter half of the 2020/21 season with Nottingham after leaving Watford and impressed enough to warrant another loan move the season after, where he spent a full season with Forest and played a role in their promotion to the Premier League.
In his time at the City Grounds, he made 66 appearances (60 starts), contributing with eight goals and 10 assists. This has established him as a Tricky Trees fan favourite.
According to Samuel Luckhurst of Manchester evening news;
"Manchester United have decided to sell midfielder James Garner.The Manchester Evening News understands United value Garner, 21, between £15million and £20m and Nottingham Forest and Tottenham are interested. Garner is under contract at United until 2024.via manchestereveningnews.co.uk"
Manchester United supporters not happy with James Garner transfer talks
This decision has not gone down well with Manchester United supporters. With Aiden Rabiot’s move falling through, they have failed to sign a central midfielder in the window, replacing none of the departed: Matic, Pogba, Lingard, and Mata.
Erik Ten Hag has stuck to the partnership of Fred and Scot Mctominay, which has not faired very well for United.
With Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Winks all looking to leave Tottenham Hotspur before the closure of the summer transfer window, Conte is looking to sign a central midfielder and Garner fits the bill.
The player is said to be available for around 15-20 million, which could prove to be a bargain given how young and promising James Garner is.
Which club do you think suits Garner best: Tottenham or Nottingham?
He will most likely be the guaranteed starter or at least a first-team regular at Forest and would get more game time.
At Spurs, however, he would not only get the chance to play in the Champions League but also play under a brilliant manager, who most likely help him reach his full potential.
