Another pick, another Arsenal player. They’ve looked sharp all pre-season, have a good run of fixtures, and are priced well, making them strong choices heading into the league season.

Martinelli played left wing but took up advanced positions centrally with regularity. He missed an easy chance to open the scoring before getting another great-headed chance, which he duly took to grab himself a goal. Two “big” chances and an open play expected goals (xG) of 0.88 for a 6m-priced midfielder is too good to pass up.
